LOMO LC-A 120

Taipei, Taiwan

A medium format take on the original LOMO LC-A that started the lomography movement in the early 90s, the LOMO LC-A 120 features zone focusing and auto-exposure. This is a satisfyingly simple tool of lomography. Point, judge the distance of your subject and set your focus zone (0.6m, 1m, 2.5m, or infinity), shoot, and wind for the next photo.

To achieve the double exposure effect used here take a photo and then take another without winding to the next film frame. With the film exposed to the light twice both exposures are combined into one surreal impression.
"Sooner than we think...images will become historical, a record of a place that no longer exists in quite the same way”
